This policy explains how KZQ Studio handles personal information when you use kzqstudio.com, send an enquiry, or ask us to quote for work.

It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email admin@kzqstudio.com.

Who we are

KZQ Studio is a creative and digital studio. We design and develop websites, and we help with marketing, social media and creative work for growing businesses.

If a written project agreement names a different contact for a piece of work, use that contact for that project.

What this policy covers

This policy covers personal information we collect through:

  • this website, including the enquiry form and the email signup in the footer
  • email, phone or WhatsApp if you contact us yourself
  • files, copy, logins or brand material you send so we can quote or do agreed work

It does not cover other websites we link to. Those sites have their own policies.

The information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the enquiry form we ask for:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • a message about your project or question

The footer form asks for an email address if you want us to follow up that way.

If we start a conversation, you may also send business details, existing website or brand files, examples of work you like, budgets, timelines, or access details. Send only what you are comfortable sharing. Do not send passwords in the public form if a safer channel has already been agreed.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site is hosted on a server that may record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, date and time, and referring URL. That data is used to run, secure and troubleshoot the site, not to sell profiles of visitors.

We do not currently run a separate marketing pixel or advertising network on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy.

How we use the information

We use personal information to:

  • reply to enquiries and have a conversation about possible work
  • prepare quotes, scopes and project communication
  • deliver work you have asked us to do
  • send project-related email, such as questions, drafts or invoices
  • keep records we need for accounting, tax or a dispute
  • keep the website working and secure

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not pass it to other studios or marketers so they can pitch you.

Forms, email and phone

The enquiry form on this site is built with Forminator and the message is delivered by email. The footer form collects an email address for follow-up.

Email is sent through our email provider. Phone calls to 067 119 0251 are handled by us. If you write on a channel you chose (for example WhatsApp), we will use that channel to reply unless you ask us not to.

You can ask us to stop using a particular channel. We may still need to keep a record of the request.

Cookies and similar technology

This site is built on WordPress and may set cookies or similar files that are needed for the site to work. That can include:

  • cookies that keep a session running or protect forms from spam
  • cookies or cache files used by the host to serve pages quickly (this site uses LiteSpeed)
  • preferences your browser stores on its own

We do not currently show a separate cookie banner, because we are not using extra advertising or analytics cookies on this site. If we add optional tracking later, we will say so here and treat that as a change to this policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site may not work as well if you do.

The site also loads fonts and, where a page needs them, scripts from third parties such as Google Fonts or form tools. Those providers may see your IP address when your browser requests those files. See their policies for how they handle that.

Hosting and other companies we use

We use other companies to run the website and email. They only get what they need to provide that service. That can include:

  • the company that hosts this website
  • the email service that delivers form submissions and our replies
  • WordPress, Elementor and form plugins that make the site and forms work

Those companies have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control how they run their infrastructure, but we choose tools that are in ordinary use for a small studio website.

How long we keep information

Enquiry messages are kept for as long as we need them to reply, quote, or keep a record of what was asked. If we do not work together, we do not keep your details longer than we have a practical or legal reason to.

If we do work together, project files, emails and invoices are kept for the life of the project and for a reasonable period afterwards for support, accounting and legal records.

Server logs are kept according to the host’s normal rotation, not as a permanent profile of you.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only when we need to, for example:

  • with hosting and email providers, as described above
  • with a contractor or specialist if a project needs extra help, and only for that work
  • if the law requires us to, or to protect the studio against fraud or abuse
  • if you ask us to, for example by introducing us to your existing developer or host

We do not publish your enquiry on the website. We do not use your name as a client story unless you agree to that in writing.

Security

We use HTTPS on this website. Access to the WordPress admin, email and project files is limited to people who need it for the work. No method of storage or sending is perfectly secure. If you think something has gone wrong, email us as soon as you can.

Your choices

You can:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct it
  • ask us to delete it, unless we still need it for a project, invoice or legal record
  • ask us to stop emailing you about a possible project
  • unsubscribe from any optional follow-up you did not ask for as part of active work

Send the request to admin@kzqstudio.com. We may need to confirm it is you before we change or delete a record.

Children

This website is for businesses and adults enquiring about studio work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the site, our tools or the law changes. The date at the top will change when we do. The current version is always the one on this page.
