Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how you may use kzqstudio.com, how enquiries work, and the basic rules that apply before we start paid work.
They are not a substitute for a written quote or project agreement. If we send a quote, scope or contract and you accept it, that document sits on top of these terms for that project.
This page is information about how the studio works. It is not legal advice.

Who we are
KZQ Studio is a creative and digital studio. We design and develop websites, and we help with marketing, social media and creative work.

Using this website
You may browse this site, read about the studio, and send an enquiry. You may not:
- copy the site’s design, code or copy to pass off as your own product
- try to break, overload or scrape the site in a way that harms it
- submit false details, spam, or content you do not have the right to send
- use the enquiry form to send malware or to advertise unrelated services
We may change or take down pages, or stop offering a form, without notice. The site is provided as it is. We aim to keep it available, but we do not promise it will never be down, slow or incomplete.
Pages may include examples of work, process notes and general descriptions of services. They are not a promise that every project will include the same steps, tools or results.
Enquiries and conversations
Sending a form, email or message is a request to talk. It does not book us, reserve a date, or create a project.
You do not need to know exactly what you need before you write. We start by listening, then we figure out whether you need a website, a clearer direction, or creative support.
We may decline work that is not a fit, including work we cannot resource, work that needs skills we do not offer, or work whose brief we are not willing to take on.
Quotes, scope and agreements
Price, timeline and deliverables are agreed in writing before paid work starts. That writing may be an email, a proposal, a scope, or a contract.
A quote is based on what we know at the time. If the brief changes, the site is more complex than described, or extra rounds of work are needed, we will say so and agree the change before doing that extra work where we reasonably can.
Unless a quote says otherwise, prices exclude third-party costs such as domains, hosting, stock, paid ads, print, licensed fonts, plugins or app store fees. Those stay with you, or we pass them through at cost if we buy them on your behalf with your say-so.
Fees and payment
Payment terms are set out in the quote or invoice. Work may be invoiced in stages, for example a deposit before we start and a balance before handover or launch.
We may pause work if an invoice that is due has not been paid. Ownership and licence of the finished work is described below and in the project documents.
We do not publish a standard price list on this site because the cost depends on the work. We will not invent a number before we understand the business and what you need.
How we work
A typical project follows a conversation, an agreed approach, the making of the work, and a review before handover. The exact steps depend on whether the job is a website, a redesign, marketing support, or creative and content work.
We keep communication open during an agreed project. You will need to give feedback, content, access and decisions in a reasonable time so we can keep the timeline.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that:
- you have the right to give us the copy, images, logos, fonts and other material you supply
- that material does not infringe someone else’s rights or break the law
- login details you share are yours to share, and you will change them if needed after the project
- you will review drafts and say clearly what should change
We are not responsible for delays caused by missing content, missing access, or late feedback.
Intellectual property
Until invoices for that work are paid, KZQ Studio keeps the rights in original work we create for the project.
Once the agreed invoices for that work are paid, the deliverables described in the quote (for example the website design as built, brand files, or content we wrote for you) are yours to use for your business, unless the quote says a licence applies instead.
We keep the right to use our underlying tools, code snippets, processes and know-how on other projects. We may show the finished work in our portfolio or on this site unless you ask us in writing not to, before or at handover.
Stock images, third-party fonts, plugins, libraries and platform themes stay under their own licences. Paying us does not rewrite those licences.
Material you supply stays yours. You give us a licence to use it for the project.
Third-party platforms
Websites, hosting, domains, analytics, ads, social platforms and plugins are run by other companies. We can recommend, set up or work inside those tools as part of a project. We do not control their uptime, pricing, features or policies.
If a platform changes or shuts a feature, we will help where it is still in scope. Ongoing platform fees are yours unless a quote says we are including them.
Revisions
The quote should say what is included. Reasonable revisions inside the agreed scope are part of the work. New pages, new features, extra design directions, or work after handover are new scope unless the quote already covers them.
Timelines
Dates we give before a project starts are estimates based on a normal flow of feedback. They are not penalties unless a signed agreement says so. We will tell you if something is likely to move the date.
Support after launch
Website updates and ongoing digital support can be part of how we help after a site is live. That support is not automatic. It needs an agreed arrangement, a support window in the quote, or a new request.
We are not on the hook for hosting outages, hacked third-party plugins, or changes you or another supplier make after handover, unless we have agreed to look after that.
Confidentiality
We treat business information you share for a quote or project as confidential, and we expect the same for our pricing, files and process where that is not already public on this site.
Pausing or ending work
You may stop a project by email. Work already done, and third-party costs already committed with your say-so, remain payable according to the quote.
We may stop a project if invoices are unpaid, if we cannot get the access or content we need, or if continuing would be unlawful or professionally unreasonable. We will say so in writing.
Limitation of liability
We do this work with care. We do not promise a particular ranking, amount of traffic, number of sales, or social result. Marketing and websites depend on many things outside the studio, including your offer, your market and platforms we do not own.
To the extent the law allows, KZQ Studio is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost data, or loss caused by third-party tools, hosting or your own changes after handover. For a given project, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for that project, except where the law does not allow that limit.
Nothing on this website creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship.
Website content
Copy, images and examples on this site belong to KZQ Studio or to people who have allowed us to use them. Do not reuse them as if they were yours without permission.
If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, email admin@kzqstudio.com with enough detail for us to look at it.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. The current version is the one on this page. For a project already agreed in writing, that written agreement still leads.
